DJ LOGO: JJ KILLEM

As a huge fan of EDM (electronic dance music), I was beyond excited to be asked to make this logo. JJ Killem is a Los Angeles based DJ who opened along side the well known Waka Flocka at Create Night Club. Below is the logo I designed for him and a few photos from the club event putting the logo to use.

KEY ART: OUT OF THE PAST

Out of the Past (1947), is one of the greatest, multi-layered film noirs of all time. The screenplay was based on Geoffrey Homes' (Daniel Mainwaring) 1946 novel Build My Gallows High, a book that imitated Dashiell Hammett's The Maltese Falcon (1941).

This goal with this design was to recreate a poster for the film with a modern day tone/approach.

BIOPIC: RUBY

A biopic (Biographical Motion Picture) is a movie about someone's life. In this case, this key art is for a biopic about myself—Rubaie Jaffer.

ANGEL'S TACOS

Angel's Tacos is a movie poster designed for a film funded by the CSUN Department of Cinema and Television Arts, located in the heart of the entertainment industry.

"Jaime is a young Latin-American, running his family's Taco Truck alongside his mother. One day he is accepted into his dream college, but that means leaving his widowed mother behind. Can he choose his dream college over his family? What will he decide?"
